Terms of Service

Welcome to Kirie! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kirie’s mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1) Overview
Kirie enables users to create custom manga and comics with AI. You are responsible for your account, content, and compliance with applicable laws.

2) Privacy Policy

3) Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Kirie. Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Upload or generate content that is illegal, hateful, or harassing.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service.
• Circumvent access controls, quotas, or subscription limits.
• Use automated scripts/bots without written permission.

5) Your Content and License to Us
You retain ownership of content you upload and outputs generated using the Service, subject to third-party rights. You grant Kirie a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service (e.g., rendering, caching, backups, and content moderation).

6) AI-Generated Content and Third-Party Models
Certain features rely on third-party AI models and providers. Inputs and outputs may be processed by these providers. You are responsible for ensuring your use and outputs comply with applicable laws and do not violate third-party rights. We do not guarantee accuracy or originality of AI outputs.

7) Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Some features require payment. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store/Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled per your store settings. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

8) Intellectual Property
Kirie, our trademarks, the app design, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors. Except as permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.

9) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or for abusive activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Certain provisions (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) survive termination.

10) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

11) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KIRIE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12) Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where we operate, without regard to conflict of laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
